The Customer Credit Limits report shows how close customers are to their credit limits. Use it to monitor spending and catch customers who are approaching or have exceeded their limits.
When to Use This Report
- Find customers who have exceeded their credit limit
- Monitor customers approaching their spending threshold
- Review credit limit usage by payment method
- Check unbilled call spend against limits
Filters

Credit Limit Settings
- Credit Check Type — choose which type of credit check to report on:
- Unbilled vs Credit Limit — compares unbilled charges against the credit limit
- Balance vs Credit Limit — compares the total outstanding balance against the credit limit
- Unbilled Calls Credit Limit — checks unbilled call spend specifically
- Overdue Invoices Credit Limit — checks overdue invoice amounts
- Prepaid/Credit Balances — checks remaining prepaid credit
- Percent Over Limit — only show customers at or above this percentage of their limit. Set to 100 to show only those who have exceeded their limit, or 80 to catch those approaching it.

Filter by invoice payment method.

Filter by customer name, status, and other customer properties. See Using Reports for details.
Output Types
- On Screen — standard tabular view showing credit limit usage per customer
- CSV Output — full data export for spreadsheet analysis
- CSV Output (Accounts) — formatted for accounting package import
- Print — print-friendly layout
Tips
- Run this report daily with Percent Over Limit set to 80% to catch customers before they breach their limit.
- Use the Unbilled vs Credit Limit check type for the most up-to-date picture, as it includes charges not yet invoiced.
- The Overdue Invoices Credit Limit check type is useful for spotting customers with payment problems.
