Credit Control

Credit Control turns an aged debt list into a worked process. Overdue customers are enrolled onto a pipeline. A ladder of letters, emails, SMS, calls and reviews then falls due on schedule, and the CRM records what was sent, what was promised and what actually came back.

Because it sits inside the billing platform, it knows exactly what is collectible: gross balances less pending credits and applied credit notes, rather than a headline figure that quietly includes money you have already agreed to give back.

Credit Control Home shows overdue balances, expected payments and chasing TODOs at a glance.

Cards: overdue balance and how many customers it covers, how many are being chased, chase actions due, how many overdue customers are not being chased, expected payments due, and TODOs due.

Panels: an aged-debt chart per currency, then queues for the chase list, top overdue customers, expected payments and chasing TODOs.

Where Finance release is required, Daily Finance release shows the run’s state and release controls. Finance, or someone acting on their behalf, should release it once incoming payments are reconciled.

A Showing picker switches everything between the team’s customers and your own, for holders of the Credit Control team queues permission. Without that permission the picker does not appear and everything is quietly limited to your own customers, which is the usual explanation when somebody reports missing work.

One thing to know: opening this page runs a tidy-up that resolves chase cases whose debt has cleared and flags promises that have been broken, so figures can move simply because you looked at it.
