The CRM Workspace
The parts of SAFE CRM that every section shares: how you get in, how you move around, and the pages that belong to no single section.
In This Section
Section titled “In This Section”- Access and roles - CRM logins, the four sections, the CRM permissions and the ready-made role groups
- Navigating the workspace - the menu, queue badges, dashboards, search, themes and switching to the billing backend
- The customer page - the tabs, chips, quick actions, timeline and caller verification
- Calendar and TODOs - your day at a glance, drag to reschedule, and the calendar feed for Outlook, Google or Apple
- Daily CRM Tasks email - the morning and afternoon digest of what needs attention
- Account security - your password, two-factor authentication, API key and connected AI assistants
- Packages and tiers - what Leads, Deals, Growth and Scale include, and the add-ons
Two rules worth knowing first
Section titled “Two rules worth knowing first”The workspace never shows you more than the backend would. Every page needs both the right CRM section and your normal backend permission for the records on it. If you cannot list invoices in the backend, the CRM will not list them either.
A missing menu item is usually a permission, not a missing feature. The menu hides anything you have no permission to see, so it never offers you a page that would turn you away. Anything your package does not include stays visible with a padlock instead, and opening it explains what it needs.
Where work starts
Section titled “Where work starts”Most days begin in one of three places:
- Your section dashboard, which opens automatically when you sign in and shows the headline figures and work queues for your section.
- The customer page, reached from the search box at the top of every screen.
- The Daily CRM Tasks email, which links straight into the queue behind each count.
