Manage financial attention

Use attention controls to record which financial issues need follow-up and which your team has already reviewed.

What you need: access to the financial list and source record, plus permission to add TODOs.

These decisions apply to everyone with access. They affect the matching issue in lists, badges, dashboards and daily task emails.

The person reviewing the issue should record the decision once they know what follow-up is needed.

  1. Choose Acknowledge / pause beside the issue.
  2. Select No action needed or Pause until.
  3. For a pause, enter the date the alert should return.
  4. Add a reason where it will help colleagues, then click Save.

No action needed hides the matching issue from attention views. Pause until hides it until the chosen date.

The alert can return when relevant circumstances change or the issue escalates. For example, an expiring card becoming expired needs another review.

These controls change reminders. They do not pause chasing, stop collections or clear the underlying financial balance.

Select Acknowledged / paused to review decisions, or All to include them alongside outstanding issues.

Choose Review / restore, select Restore attention, then save. The issue returns if it still qualifies for attention.

Invoice delivery decisions are shared between Customer Services and Credit Control. A colleague’s decision in either section affects the same issue.

Choose Add TODO beside an issue to attach a task to the relevant customer or record.

Enter a subject and due date. Assignment defaults to you. With Full access, you can choose eligible colleagues or departments.

Select Pause this alert until the TODO is due when the task owns the follow-up. This also pauses the matching alert for colleagues.

The pause ends when its date arrives, or the linked task becomes due, inactive, deleted or undated. Moving the task later does not extend the original pause.

Creating an unrelated TODO does not pause an alert. See Calendar and TODOs for managing tasks.
